Doing the exercise of Repetition involves involvement and participation. Desiring to do the participation is key. Motivation is key in movies and films and so we must practice immediately from the beginning.

If you repeat out of obligation you are more likely to achieve boredom. If you repeat out of interest in another you are more likely to achieve something interesting.
The goals of repetition are plentiful, and it can be very helpful to achieve developing yourself within it. However, repetition is both a beginning exercise and a well-advanced tool that can help to achieve Emotional Continuity in acting training.
It is interesting all the different directions that repetition can go in and what actors can achieve within themselves in terms of self-discovery. With repetition and Acting exercises for beginners the initial expressions start to form or be expressed within art.

If a person is very expressive in life, they may notice that expressing within art is different. 3 moment exercise
The 3 Moment Exercise is an observation, receiving of impulse, and expressing.
You gain in ways that you do not anticipate when you observe, receive, then after impulse express.
Typically, the 3-moment exercise is included in acting exercises for beginners. It will often have 3 people and can also be done with 2 or even more.
3 Moment In Depth Exercise
The practice of this advanced way of the exercise is vital training to explore depth. This is the advanced way of doing the 3-moment exercise in acting exercises for beginners.
Choosing to call out the less easy moments is vital to the learning of acting.
Many people doing the 3-moment exercise take it glibly. They feel that the work is a superficial game. The reality of playing a game well is involvement. If calling out a superficial observation brings participation that is interaction, then it is a fine way to achieve practice.
However, if you call out the deeper moment or observation you will have more to work with in the exercise

Instead of calling out a simple observation for the sake of it working within yourself to take in what is going on further will gift your acting abilities.
Calling out the deeper moment beneath is key.

You can call out emotional meaning and further again the exercise to work within meaning rather than just feeling.
I like you because, I don’t like you because
One of the acting exercises for beginners is I like you because and I don’t like you because circular acting exercise.
The participants stand in a circular format and take turns. The first student will go into the circle and face to face (without any physical confrontation) tell each person standing in the circle one item they like and one item they do not like.
This exercise just as the Repetition can be done at all stages of the acting work.
This exercise also has a difficulty to it that depends upon how honest the students are with each other.
Basic Rule: No Insults in the gutter.
(Decide as a group before each session what a gutter means to the group)
Examples to Basic Rule: Don’t insult each other
No swearing during comments
No sexual comments
It is important that the group determine which comments they are comfortable with and which they are not. If you are doing a script between two raging lovers’ adjustments to basic rules have to include what would be appropriate for the material being worked on.
Go around and personally address one thing you like and one thing you dislike in whichever order.
Take your time with the exercise and really allow the moments to be received.
Option: After the group has done the activity sit down on chairs and go over any highlights of what was felt. Are there any break throughs or emotional areas hit that were realizations for the Actors?
Groups Rumors Exercise
This is a great exercise to brainstorm believable rumors that are imaginary and might need good spirits if they hit realistic examples.
The Exercise is on the list of Acting Exercises for Beginners.
It is important to allow yourself creative license to be able to brainstorm about your castmates and classmates. The KEY is remembering that it is imaginary circumstances.

Independent Activities are Independent Doings that an Actor is involved in achieving accomplishing a task.
The task of Independent Activities can be combined with Emotional Preparation or simply independent. If the Actor or the student is working with a certain emotional technique they can add this to the desire to achieve accomplishing the Doing of the Independent Activities task.
The task of the Independent Activity is the focus that has real effects on the actor achieving it or not.
It is highly advisable to add motivation if needed to the Independent Activity. Often a strong reason to an Independent Activity includes a motivation but adding a specific motivation to the work ensures results that are active and focused.
The goals of the Independent Activities are to improve acting concentration. These can be practiced alone in limited form but lead to be included in In’s and Out’s (Doors and Activities)
In’s and Out’s (Doors and Activities)
In’s and Out’s are acting exercise of Sanford Meisner in New York City that were later renamed Doors and Activities.
The In’s and Out’s (Doors and Activities) have both a person doing the task of Independent Activity and a person who shows up at their door unexpected.
Many times, both students and teachers forget the work is about an unexpected visitor. The goal of the exercise in the initial moment is to catch the moment of unexpectedness and un-anticipation.
